25 January 2005 - Online registration for LFC2005 is now open |
|
|
Online registration, abstract submission, and accomodation booking for LFC2005 is now open. You will find a "Register Now" link in between the "Conference dates" and "Registration opens" headlines above (right next to the image of the fish larva!), or simply click on the link above.
Do not wait to arrange your travel to Barcelona. Since July is at the height of the tourist season in Europe, apex fares will quickly disappear.
Also bear in mind that hotels in Barcelona are very expensive. Therefore, if you are interested in the Youth Hostels or Residences that we have reserved for the conference, we strongly recommend you to make your booking (using the online form) as soon as possible.

18 January 2005 - Registration and abstract submission deadlines changed |

Because of unpredictable delays in implementing secure online commercial transactions (so that you can all register - and pay - online), the deadlines for registration and abstract submission have been changed. We now expect to be able to open registration by the end of the business day on Friday, 21 January. Click on the Deadlines link to your right (or above) for details. |

10 January 2005 - ICES Working Group on Recruitment Processes to meet in conjunction with LFC2005! |
|
|
We are pleased to announce that the ICES Working Group on Recruitment Processes will hold a workshop entitled: "Identifying the Challenges and Opportunities for Recruitment Studies in the 21st Century" in conjunction with LFC2005. This workshop, which is currently in the final stages of planning, will be held either just before or just after the conference. For further information, please contact
