Registration Information and Fees
The deadline for early registration is midnight* on Monday, 22 March 2010.
The deadline for abstract submission is midnight* on Wednesday, 24 March 2010.

Registration fees
Standard registration fee = 300 USD Student registration fee = 175 USD Accompanying person fee = 120 USD (only if they will attend the social events and conference banquet)
Late (after 28 February) standard registration fee = 350 USD Late (after 28 February) student registration fee = 175 USD Late (after 28 February) accompanying person fee = 150 USD
NOTE: A 50.00 USD fee will be deducted from reimbursements of registrants who withdraw from the conference.
Those of you who register as students MUST bring with you proof of your student status (e.g. a letter from your supervisor; official proof of enrolment from your University's registrar, etc.). Student financial support is available on a competitive basis. For more information about the possibilities for student support, contact us at larvalfishcon@gmail.com.
The registration fee includes
- Conference abstract and program package
- Coffee and snacks during the morning and afternoon coffee breaks
- Opening reception/social
- Conference banquet
- Refreshments (snacks and drinks) during the poster session
- Conference T-shirt
- Conference aluminum water bottle
How to Register Follow the link below and fill in your information in the online forms provided. You will then be asked to pay with either a credit card or purchase order. You will also be asked to choose yes or no in a pull-down box under the label "AA/EOE/ADA." This is only relevant if you need special disability accommodations during the conference. If you have no such needs, choose NO.
Upon registration, you will receive both a general confirmation email as well as a more detailed email with further instructions (all of which can also be found on this conference webpage) and the link to the abstract submission page, should you wish to submit an abstract. Note that there may be several days delay in your receiving this information.

Join The Early Life History Section
JOIN US!
Membership in the Early Life History Section (ELHS) of the American Fisheries Society (AFS) is open to all persons or organizations interested in furthering ELHS objectives and is established or renewed by calendar year upon payment of annual Section dues (15.00 U.S. dollars).
Voting Membership is restricted to Full members in good standing of the American Fisheries Society (AFS).
Joining the ELHS as a Voting Member (must be a full and active member of AFS)
If you are an active member of AFS wishing to add (or renew) ELHS membership beginning with the next calendar year, simply check the box for the Early Life History Section on your annual fall AFS dues/subscription statement for the upcoming year and add the $15 annual ELHS dues to your annual AFS dues and other payments. Renew your membership annually by this same procedure, or you can renew online here.
If you are an active member of AFS wishing to add ELHS membership now and receive back issues of our newsletter for the current calendar year, contact the AFS membership secretary (main@fisheries.org or 301-897-8616), request amendment of membership to include ELHS for the current calendar year, and make arrangements for payment of ELHS dues through AFS (AFS will notify ELHS and forward dues). You can also add ELHS membership online.
If you wish to join both AFS and ELHS, simply fill out an AFS membership application form; don't forget to check the box for ELHS and include $15 ELHS dues in your payment. If you have any questions, contact the AFS membership secretary at main@fisheries.org or 301-897-8616.

Joining the ELHS as an Affiliate Member
Affiliate Membership is open to persons (or organizations) who are not members of AFS. Affiliate members of the Section are encouraged to participate in Section meetings, committee work, and other activities, but they cannot vote on official Section matters, run for or hold an elected office, or chair standing committees. All members receive STAGES , the official ELHS Newsletter, and are entered into our database so that they can easily be contacted about Section business and events.
