Abstract Submission Submission of abstracts on all aspects of the early life history stages of fish are welcome, either as an oral presentation or as a poster.
The deadline for abstract submission is midnight* on Saturday 31 May 2008.
The deadline for early registration is midnight* on Sunday 20 April 2008.

You will not be able to submit an abstract until you have registered (and paid the registration fee). Conference registration and abstract submission through this web page is strongly encouraged. To simplify currency exchange procedures, and transfer of funds, payment must be made by credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD). Online payment (via secure server) at the time that you register will be the simplest procedure, and this is strongly encouraged. Please contact Catriona Clemmesen if you are unable to make payment online using a credit card. Upon completion of the registration section of the online form, you will have the option of submitting an abstract. If you choose not to insert an abstract, you will be registered as a non-presenting participant. Please read the Guidelines for Abstract Preparation carefully before completing the form. Make sure that the entire text of your abstract falls within the box. To do this, you may have to use the horizontal scroll bar to view all of the text. You should identify whether you wish your submission to be considered for one of the theme sessions or for the contributed paper session. Abstracts are required for all oral and poster presentations. Abstracts must be submitted in English. Responsibility for accuracy rests with the author. Guidelines for Abstract Preparation Presentations will be either oral or poster. You must indicate your preference on the abstract submission form. All abstracts must be accompanied by registration information and full payment of all fees. For multi-authored abstracts, the presenting author’s name should be in ALL CAPS. This author's registration form must accompany the abstract. Specify the audio-visual equipment that you require in the box provided on the abstract submission form. Basic equipment available will be overhead projector, high-resolution projector for use with PCs and laptops (for electronic presentations such as PowerPoint), slide projector and screen. If you have additional requirements, please specify them. Abstract Format Abstracts must be no more than 400 words (excluding authors, title, and addresses). The abstract title should be in ALL CAPS. Do not use chemical or mathematical formulae, or Greek characters in your title. Use only English-language (ASCII) equivalents in your title. Provide a contact address for each author, including email address. If two or more authors are at the same address, list each author and one address. All author entries must be last name followed by first name or initials (Author, U.P.). Sample Abstract TITLE OF ABSTRACT (TITLE IN CAPS) PRESENTINGAUTHOR, U.P., Institution, City, Province or State, Country, Postal Code or Zip Code, Email address; 2nd Author, A.N. and 3rd Author, P.Q., 2nd Institute, etc. Please limit the size of your abstract to 400 words. Abstracts must fit into the on-line box. The text should be presented as a single paragraph. Leave no blank lines within the body of the abstract. Please do not include illustrations, equations, figures or photos with your abstract. Abstracts will not be accepted if the presenting author has not registered. |
