Registration Information & Fees
The deadline for early registration was 14 February 2005. Because of the stringent requirements for advance planning, a 30% surcharge will be applied to registrations received after this date. Registrations received after 1 March 2005 will be accepted, but accommodation cannot be guaranteed.

Registration Fees
Registration fees (in U.S. dollars) are as follows (the numbers may seem high, but as you will see below, the fee is all-inclusive).
- Standard registration fee = $460.00
- Late (after 14 February) standard registration fee = $600.00
- Student registration fee = $265.00
- Late (after 14 February) student registration fee = $350.00
- Accompanying person fee = $125.00 (only if they will attend the social events and Conference banquet).
- Late (after 14 February) accompanying person fee = $160.00
The registration fee includes
· Conference abstract and program package
· Coffee and snacks available during the coffee breaks
· Lunch from 11 to 14 July
· Refreshments during the poster session
· Opening reception/socializer
· Conference Banquet
· Transportation from the University to the Town Hall reception and to the Banquet Restaurant

Those of you who register as students MUST bring with you proof of your student status (e.g. a letter from your supervisor; official proof of enrolment from your University's registrar, etc.).
Registering for Sight Seeing Activities
Delegates interested in the field trip after the congress, or in the program for accompanying persons, can make reservations from the online registration page.
· Figueres and Pubol - Friday 15 July = $90.00
· Program for accompanying persons 11 and 12 July = $135.00
Making payment
Full payment must accompany a completed registration and abstract submission. To simplify currency exchange procedures, and transfer of funds, payment must be made by credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD). Online payment (via secure server) at the time that you register will be simplest procedure, and this is strongly encouraged. If you are unable to pay by credit card, please contact yolanda@activacongresos.com. We will do our best to accommodate you, but be aware that we will have to levy a service charge of at least $95.00 against checks or bank transfers to cover the charges applied to such transactions.
When you register online, you will receive an email message confirming your registration and detailing the fees that you paid. Hopefully, this will be a sufficient to serve as your receipt. If you require a more "official" receipt, please request it from yolanda@activacongresos.com.
Withdrawal Fees
A conference processing fee of $160.00 will be withheld for any cancellations prior to 1 April 2005. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after that date. Duplicate registrations will be charged a non-refundable processing fee of $95.00 to cover the cost associated with processing.
Accommodation in Youth Hostels and Residences must be paid in advance (before 14 February 2005) using the Accomodations reservation form that you will have access to only AFTER registering for the conference. Note that charges for the registration fee are levied in U.S. dollars while those for accommodation are in Euro.
If you find it necessary to cancel your accommodation registration before 1 April we can refund you 60% of the charges. Cancellations after 1 April will not be refunded, but substitutions by other colleagues can be made.
Those who wish to reserve accommodation in the hotel arranged for by the organizers must also reserve it using the Accommodations Form, but the bill will be due upon check-out, and payment made directly at/to the Hotel. |
