Several keynote speakers will set the tone for some of these theme sessions. There will be no parallel sessions during these keynote presentations. Contributed oral papers will follow keynote talks. According to the number of oral papers, concurrent (parallel) sessions may be necessary.
Poster sessions will be on Tuesday evening.
Invited (keynote) oral presentations will be a total of 30 minutes, including questions. Contributed oral papers will be a total of 15 minutes, including questions.
Posters should be set-up on the first day of the conference and will remain on display throughout the meeting. All posters must be removed from the poster display area by the evening of Thursday, 14 July.
Audio-visual equipment and PowerPoint presentations
Both the Auditorium and the classroom will have overhead and slide projectors, as well as digital projectors connected to recent-model laptop computers (you will not require your own computer).
Those of you who will make PowerPoint presentations should bring them on PC-compatible CD or USB memory sticks (no zip drives, please!), or bring your own MAC laptops. Delegates will be asked to load their PP presentations onto the desktop of the computer the evening before their talks.
Note that our computers are running MS-OFFICE 2000, so please be sure that your PowerPoint presentations are compatible with that software!
